Believing In Jesus Verses Knowing About Jesus

In Genesis 1, one of the most important aspects is recognizing that there is a Creator, and we are His creation. This fundamental understanding puts everything into the right perspective. When we acknowledge that God is the Creator, we are starting with the ultimate source of truth.
This understanding is essential because it enables us to think straight about critical issues of our day. Instead of relying solely on our feelings or human wisdom, we begin with what the Creator says. His Word becomes our guide and foundation, providing wisdom and clarity in a world filled with confusion.
Moreover, recognizing the Creator leads us to a profound question: Are you submitting your life to the Creator? It's not enough to merely acknowledge His existence; true wisdom and understanding come when we surrender our lives to His divine plan.

Today, as you go about your life, I want to challenge you to see your relationship with God not as something to be studied but as something to be believed. Are you trusting Jesus not only for forgiveness but also to guide you in your daily decisions and interactions with others?
It's easy to turn Jesus into someone to be studied, like great historical people, but with Jesus, we are called to believe in Him. Take a moment to examine your faith. Is it a deep, unwavering belief in Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Are you relying on Him not only for salvation but also for daily guidance and transformation?
Just as God created the heavens and the earth, He desires to shape and guide your life. Today, choose to expand the depth of your belief in Jesus, allowing Him to lead you in every aspect of your life.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with open hearts, seeking to deepen our belief in Jesus. Help us not only to know about Him but to truly trust Him in our daily lives. May our faith in Jesus be unwavering, guiding our decisions and interactions with others. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
